Monk Armor - Same Technique as Warrior?
Hey there, Gang...
I was just wondering the following - With Warrior armor, we know that the physical resistance applied from the knight/plate applies to the -entire- body - so wearing an entire set is sometimes questionable. Typically, one dons the boots with the resist, then wears a set of gladiator armor for the energy.
Does the same thing hold true for Monk armor? I've been wearing a Chest Piece that offers physical resistance, thinking that i'm likely to get struck more in the chest than anywhere else. But if this doesn't matter, can I simply don some sandals with resistance, and wear tattoos everywhere else?
Sorry for seeming a bit disjointed - i'm not at home right now, and hence can't -recall- the specific names of the actual armor.
- Best Regards,
TheMarvin

I'm a lvl 20 monk and I never wear a matching set.
Here the breakdown:
Chest = 35.7%
Legs = 25%
Feet, Arms, & Head = 12%
I wear:
Censor's Armor on chest
Regular monk armor for legs
Wanderor's armor for feet
Tatoos for arms
Divine Favor for head
Mixing and matching gives you the best of all worlds.

It really depends on what you're doing. In PvP, I wear tats everywhere, but wanderer's (ele armor) on legs, because if you're running, and someone uses a projectile magic spell on you (flare, for example), it'll hit you in the legs due to your running. In PvE, when healing, I'm all tats, when farming it's judge's chest and legs, tats elsewhere.
